Police have appealed for information after a collision on the A59 Skipton Road in Harrogate.
Officers said it happened at approximately 11.20am on Saturday (August 16) near to the Nelson Inn and involved a silver/grey unknown vehicle and a blue Audi SQ5.
It is the second collision to have been reported on the A59 in a week after a driver was taken to hospital following a crash near Menwith Hill last Wednesday (August 13).
In a statement, North Yorkshire Police said the incident on Saturday saw the occupants of the Audi, including two children, suffer minor injuries. They received treatment at hospital before being later discharged.
The force said:
We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicles prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
In particular, we are appealing for any dashcam footage of the collision, or any details regarding the grey/silver vehicle which did not stop at the scene.
