Police appeal after Harrogate burglary

North Yorkshire Police has issued an appeal for information following a burglary in Harrogate.

The incident happened at 12.30pm on Friday, May 9 just off John Metcalf Way.

According to a police statement today, the suspects are believed to have parked nearby on on Follifoot Lane and then accessed the property on foot through fields.

One of the suspects was disturbed by the resident and they both fled the scene. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.

The vehicle is believed to have been parked in a layby near to the junction with John Metcalf Way.

Police urged anyone who may have noticed a vehicle parked in that location to come forward with any information.
