Police have reopened a Harrogate street after an incident this afternoon.
Dragon Parade was closed near the Asda petrol station while officers dealt with the situation.
The Stray Ferret contacted North Yorkshire Police for further details.
It said in a statement:
We were called to an address in Mornington Terrace just after 1.20pm today following concerns for a man’s welfare. On arriving, we found a man in a distressed state on the roof of a property.
Cordons were put in place to keep the public safe during the incident. We spoke to the man, who engaged with officers and safely came down from the building so he could be helped. The cordons were removed at 2.45pm.
