Police have launched an investigation after a man made racist comments towards a woman in Ripon.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened at 6.15pm on February 23 on Holmefield Road and Russell Dixon Square, which is just off Harrogate Road.
Officers said it involved the man making racist comments towards the woman in the street.
A police statement said:
