Missing girl from Harrogate district found safe

A missing 16-year-old girl from a village in the Harrogate district has been found safe.

North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for information last night to find the teenager after she failed to return from a walk in the village park.

But officers said in a statement this morning she had been "located safe and well".

We have therefore amended the article to remove details of the girl.
