Police have identified the man who died in a fatal collision in the Beckwithshaw area last Friday (October 24).
North Yorkshire Police today (October 28) said 52-year-old Nicholas Parkin, from Beckwithshaw, died after his Citroën C2 left Pot Bank, a road near Harrogate, and collided with a tree.
The single-vehicle collision occurred at around 10pm.
Police published a photo of Nicholas and said:
His family described Nicholas as a much-loved family member and have released a family photograph of him.
Our thoughts remain with them at this sad time as we continue to appeal for witnesses and information.
