Police release CCTV image after Harrogate assault

Police have released this image.

Police have issued a CCTV image after an assault in Harrogate.

The incident happened at the Co-op store on Skipton Road on October 22, 2024, at around 4.30pm.

North Yorkshire Police said it involved the victim being assaulted while trying to leave the store. This caused bleeding to the head of the victim where they have had to receive treatment.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following the assault and have urged the public to contact them if they recognise him.

A police statement added:

Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.
