Police are searching for a missing Starbeck teenager.
North Yorkshire Police today said officers are currently searching for 14-year-old Skye, who has been missing since yesterday (February 2).
The force said Skye is believed to have left her home on High Street in Starbeck between 4am and 8am.
Her family has been unable to make contact with her and police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Today’s statement added:
Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Skye and as part of our enquiries, we are asking for anyone who may have seen her, or who has information about her whereabouts, to contact us immediately.
She is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with mousy brown hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Skye could be travelling to Stafford, Derby, Bristol, Devon and Gloucestershire.
Officers also said:
If you have seen Skye or have any information, including any dash-cam or doorbell camera footage, that could assist us, please call us on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
If you have an immediate sighting, please dial 999.
