North Yorkshire Police has issued photos of two women caught on camera at the Squinting Cat pub on Whinney Lane in Harrogate who officers want to talk to.
The force said a statement tonight (February 10) that a female had reported the theft of her bank card after she accidentally left it in a chip and pin reader at a self-service checkout.
The statement added:
The card has subsequently been used to make contactless purchases. Police are looking to identify the females in the images who are alleged to have used the card to buy food and drink in the Squinting Cat in Harrogate.”
