Police warn of spate of shop burglaries in Knaresborough

North Yorkshire Police has issued a warning to businesses in Knaresborough following a spate of commercial burglaries in the town.

The constabulary said in a statement today there had been several incidents in which “cash has been taken from within”.

It added:

“It is advised to remove all cash from commercial premises and where possible keep internal doors locked.
“If you know who may be committing these or have any other information which you think may assist, please call North Yorkshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0845 555111.”


Alternatively, you can visit the Crimestoppers website to report information anonymously.
