The upper storeys of this property at the bottom end of Parliament Street have been vacant from some years.

Parliament Street is arguably the most prestigious street in Harrogate. Why then have the premises at the bottom of the street above the Hera Bar been allowed to fall into such disrepair?

They look like a squat: boarded up, with windows covered in plastic sheeting. It looks disgraceful and dangerous.

Windows have been smashed and covered over.

They have been like this for years, so why can’t the council get the landlord to bring it up to standard?

It brings the whole street down and is certainly not a good advert for Harrogate's tourist industry.

Please make it happen.
