These endless roadworks and now roadworks on freshly completed roadworks are strangling the whole area. Shopping, school runs, buses and businesses have almost become impossible. Venturing out on a road in the area is a journey into the unknown. Why can’t these people ( NYC and the contractors) work together?

There has been a smell of gas in this spot for years which has been a safety concern. Good news that these gas pipes is getting fixed – so many of us still rely on gas for heating and cooking.

Having served 30 years. In a City Fire Service, what do you expect when you reduce the amount of front line appliance to save money? I sometimes read in the Stray Ferret that they have to rely on on a West Yorkshire to make up the shortfall of pumps.
