The Stray Ferret recently published residents’ opinions on whether more events should be held on the Stray. Love to Be’s Harrogate festival saw 6,000 people descend on the Oatlands Drive section of the Stray earlier this month. The below comments were left on the story.
Let’s not reduce a lovely outdoor space to a pile of mud. The Stray is the lungs of Harrogate - don't clog them up.
People will come to live here and enjoy the space it gives them. Space that everyone in Harrogate is free to use.
