Boroughbridge firm Reed Boardall has revealed a new flagship trailer design that illustrates its support for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The temperature-controlled food distribution company, which employs 800 staff, operates a fleet of 200 vehicles.
One of those vehicles has been adapted to show the company’s polar bear mascot flying a YAA helicopter.
Reed Boardall has raised £139,000 for the charity since the partnership began in 2020.
Marcus Boardall, chief executive of Reed Boardall, said:
As a business with hundreds of vehicles travelling through communities every day, we recognise the responsibility we have to use that visibility for good. Our new flagship truck is a striking reminder of the incredible work YAA does across the region.
In 2024, 1,226 patients were attended to by YAA.
Katie Roberts, the charity's director of relationship fundraising, said:
Reed Boardall’s fleet travels thousands of miles every week, and this specially designed trailer will take awareness of our lifesaving work into every corner of Yorkshire.
