Ripon's only nightclub is on the market at an asking price of £99,950, just three months after it reopened under new ownership.
DeFacto, on North Street, was previously known as Wonderland, which closed in August.
Prior to its reopening in October, an upgrade saw a VIP lounge created and the toilets and a staircase refurbished.
New owner Jenk Pepec, who also owns The Silva Bells restaurant on Kirkgate, told the Stray Ferret that the bill for the work exceeded £60,000 and he hoped the transformation would attract a new clientele.
Inside DeFacto
Property agents Alan J Picken, who are marketing the leasehold property, said on Rightmove:
We are delighted to offer this well-known, popular, bar/nightclub business in the heart of Ripon.
Currently trading 3 days a week, operating as both a busy town-centre bar and night club, it's the only late-night venue in Ripon and therefore has a monopoly on the area.
Since establishing the business, our clients have transformed the once basic premises into a truly eye-catching space, which has been fitted with high quality fixtures, fittings and equipment.
A loyal and local clientele and an excellent reputation has been established over the years, attracting those from Ripon and surrounding conurbations.
We trust this will prove a resoundingly successful acquisition, for a dedicated enthusiastic working proprietor to continue to exploit the full potential and derive maximum profits.
