Part of a main Harrogate road and prominent residential street is set for eight weeks of disruption from next week.
According to North Yorkshire Council’s roadworks map, a section of Duchy Road will shut from April 7 until May 30.
The map indicates the road will be closed between the junction with the A61 Ripon Road and Clarence Drive.
Northern Powergrid, which recently completed extensive roadworks on Harrogate’s York Place, Ripon Road and Jennyfield Drive, is behind the work.
The closure will be in place whilst the company replaces 33-kilovolt cables.
The roadworks map also outlines a diversion for motorists, which is pictured below.

In addition, a small section of nearby Cornwall Road is also set for disruption.
The council’s roadworks map shows part of the road will be closed from the junction with Royal Parade (pictured below).
The closure will be in place from April 7 until April 21 and will allow contractor Balfour Beatty - working on behalf of Northern Powergrid – to replace 33-kilovolt cables.
A small section of Cornwall Road will also close.
