Music at Ripon Cathedral is enjoying a renaissance, but nothing can be taken for granted. Continued care and development of our growing number of choristers and choral scholars and sustained professional training for our superb lay clerks requires financial commitment, which is why I am extremely grateful for this grant
Director of Music, Dr Ronny Krippner said:
Thanks to the generous support of the Cathedral Music Trust, we are now in a strong position to expand both the provision for vocal training of our choristers and the professional development of our lay clerks, as well as engage supernumerary lay clerks more regularly to support the large number of treble voices in our cathedral choir. I am delighted.
