Ripon's South Lodge pub is set to undergo refurbishment and handed to new operators.
The move comes as Star Pubs — which rents out more than 2,400 pubs to operators across the country and owns the pub — has submitted a planning application to North Yorkshire Council for new signage at the Harrogate Road pub.
The refurbishment is also expected to include internal redecoration, updated lighting and fresh signage.
Star Pubs is also advertising for new management on its website.
The Stray Ferret asked the company when it expects to open the premises.
A spokesperson for Star Pubs said:
The South Lodge pub in Ripon is about to undergo a refurbishment. Once it reopens, it will be run by a new operator under our Just Add Talent model, whereby the operator runs the pub on behalf of Star Pubs.
