A busy side road in Harrogate is set to close for more than two months.
Coppice Drive, which connects the A61 Ripon Road and King’s Road, will be shut for 70 days as work to install 11KV cables is carried out.
Harrogate Town Council said the closure will be in place between March 9 and May 17.
According to Causeway one.network – an online map that provides updates on road closures – Northern Powergrid is behind the scheme.
It says:
Excavating carriageway to depth of 1.4m x width of 2.5m x 3m long to install electric 11KV cables x4 and join them together.
The closure will be in effect all the time, Causeway adds.
