Here are the answers to this week's Saturday News Quiz. How well did you do?

1. Harrogate Theatre's chief executive, David Bown, was nominated in the Best Scriptwriter category at the UK Pantomime Awards, putting his 2025 production in the top five of the UK's 600-plus pantomimes. His script was a retelling of which classic pantomime story?

2. The Punch Bowl Inn at Marton-cum-Grafton is in new hands, after Boroughbridge publican Simon Wade bought it from Provenance Inns. A previous owner starred in BBC comedy series Men Behaving Badly. Who was it?

3. Knaresborough Town's women's team has earned promotion for an incredible fourth successive season, so will play next year in the North East Regional Women’s Football League Division One South, alongside clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday and York City. Which tier of the 12-tier women's football pyramid have they now reached?
