This week, Skipton and Ripon's Tory MP Sir Julian Smith did a stint working at McDonalds, Ripon teenage running sensation Simon Bordewich won his second national 400m title, and Fifty-Two, the fine dining restaurant at Rudding Park, was awarded its first ever Michelin star.
