This week, we learned that membership prices at the district's leisure centres could be in for a shake-up, a Knaresborough man who inflicted ‘horrendous’ suffering on his dog was spared jail, and the line-ups for this year's Fake and Love to Be festivals, and the Theakston's OldPeculier Crime Writing Festival – all in Harrogate – were announced.
