A weekly sauna is set to open in Knaresborough this week.
The wood-fired sauna, which will be installed on a trailer, will be available for the first time on Friday (August 2) at Knaresborough Lido.
It is part of a collaboration between the Lido Leisure Park and Whitby Wellbeing, a company that organises wellbeing events.
The blend of hot and cold therapy, from the sauna and plunges in the Nidd, is said to improve mental and physical health.
Hour-long slots can be booked early on Friday mornings throughout August.

Daniel O’Connor, founder of Whitby Wellbeing said:
This innovative venture invites locals and visitors alike to immerse themselves in a sanctuary of gentle warmth and steam by the beautiful River Nidd.
Our sauna experience promises to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul, offering a perfect blend of soothing heat and invigorating cold plunges in the river.
The sauna will be at the lido every Friday next month. There are hourly slots from 6am-9am.
