The search is on for the district's best up-and-coming young talent in the Stray Ferret Business Awards 2026.
The award for our Rising Star Under 30 will put the spotlight on the brightest business prospects for the future – people who are sure to make waves and build a successful career in the years to come.
Rising Star Under 30, which is sponsored by Harrogate-based Thompsons Chartered Accountants, is one of 10 categories in the awards.
Thompsons' managing director Gyles Behbood said:
Having been given the opportunity to lead Thompsons Chartered Accountants at just 26, it feels only natural for us to continue supporting the success of young professionals and the next generation of business leaders.
The Rising Star Under 30 award celebrates those who push boundaries, show initiative, and inspire others with their energy and vision.
We’re proud to be supporting this award for the fourth year running and to play a part in recognising the dedication and achievements of young professionals across our region.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards, which are once again sponsored by Harrogate-based financial adviser Prosperis, recognise the brightest and best of the region’s business talent across all sectors.
They are open to entrants from across the Harrogate district, including Boroughbridge, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Masham, Nidderdale, Ripon and the surrounding areas.
To enter Business of the Year or any of the other categories, go to the Stray Ferret Business Awards page of our website here. It's quick, easy and free of charge.
The winners will be announced to 350 guests at a superb black-tie event in the Pavilions of Harrogate on March 26.
