The 36 bus will be diverted in Ripon for several months when the second phase of roadworks begins in Market Place next week.

The bus will not stop at the city's bus station while the resurfacing works are on-going.

Instead, the service will start and terminate at Fishergate.

The bus will then divert via North Street, Marshall Way, Blossomgate, Park Street, Firby Lane and Somerset Row before joining back onto its normal route.

The amendment is due to the second phase of the Ripon Market Place resurfacing scheme, which will affect Market Place West as well as Kirkgate and Duck Hill.

No other bus services will be affected by the roadworks.
