Sharow Lane is currently closed to traffic yet again, as contractors work to repair a burst water main that flooded the main road into the village.
Sharow Lane has become notorious for drivers in the Ripon area for how frequently it is closed.
The route is popular with motorists heading towards the A1 and Thirsk.
Roads campaigner James Thornborough, who lives in the village, told the Stray Ferret:
This is the latest incident that people living in or travelling through Sharow have experienced in recent times, with burst water mains that have caused disruption on Sharow Lane and Dishforth Road.
