A high-speed motorcyclist that rode around Knaresborough last night faces a number of driving charges, police said today (October 26).
In a statement this morning, North Yorkshire Police said several members of the public reported the incident.
The statement said:
“We received several calls from members of the public regarding a male riding a motorbike at speed, carrying passengers, not wearing helmets, and nearly knocking over a pedestrian.
“Within minutes of the report coming in, officers from operational support unit team and a Knaresborough neighbourhood policing team located the male and seized the bike at Hay-a-Park.”
The statement added the man had been “reported for summons to court for a number of driving offences”.
