The Spiegeltent. has returned to Harrogate after a two-year break.

The giant tent with mirrored walls, wooden floors and stained glass will host a programme of cabaret, jazz, folk, dance and burlesque on Crescent Gardens.

This year’s line-up includes The Gypsy Queens, House of Burlesque and Jo Harrop.

The events, organised by Harrogate International Festivals, run from yesterday (June 28) to July 7.

James Street jeweller Ogden of Harrogate sponsored the Spiegeltent in 2022 and is backing the bohemian event again.

Director Ben Ogden said:

The Spiegeltent is a stunning venue that brings real sparkle to people’s lives and as such it feels like the perfect fit for us. Spiegeltents, like Ogden’s, have a rich history and we are looking forward to seeing the diverse array of talented musicians coming to Harrogate this summer.

Sharon Canavar, chief executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said:

As an arts charity, we rely on funding and support from fantastic businesses like Ogden’s, and without their support we wouldn’t be able to bring the Spiegeltent and so many wonderful, world-class performers to Harrogate.
