Art is subjective, and finding a piece that speaks to your individual taste and aesthetic is an important part of falling in love with artwork.
Whether you're a lover of conceptual art, pastoral scenes or something striking and contemporary, there's something for everyone at these featured galleries.
Lucy Pittaway was founded in 2015 and has grown from its first gallery in Brompton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire, to eight galleries across the North of England.
Recently, it opened a new gallery on Tyneside in Newcastle upon Tyne, broadening its reach to share Lucy’s celebrated art with even more people.
Galleries showcase a variety of Lucy's best-selling and distinctive artwork, which includes not only Yorkshire landscapes but also cycling scenes, inspiring horizons, and beloved pieces like Sycamore Gap, Yorkshire Life, A Pawfect Place by the Water, and Light Up Your Life.
Many of these pieces, such as Lucy’s famous sheep, have become customer favourites, especially in Harrogate, where her work resonates strongly with local themes and scenery.
In addition to commercial art, its galleries offer a range of homeware, stationery, and gifts, making ideal gifts and allowing customers to enjoy 'art that makes you smile' in their everyday lives.
Currently, Stray Ferret members enjoy a 15 percent discount on their first in-gallery purchases, as well as regularly running additional offers throughout the year, allowing customers more opportunities to take home a piece of Lucy’s work.
Additionally, a sale on selected items is now live, offering up to 50 percent off homeware and gift items, including popular pieces like cushions and ceramics. The sale is on in the gallery and online.
Each gallery is staffed by knowledgeable team members who can help customers explore the full collection, discuss framing and sizing options, and ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors.
