A member of staff at a Harrogate shop was assaulted during a robbery last Thursday (June 26).
North Yorkshire Police today said the incident, which happened at One Stop on Devonshire Place, occurred at around 4pm.
A man entered the store and stole alcohol from the shop, before assaulting one of the staff members outside the store.
The employee was uninjured, the force added.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.
The man is described as white, 5'10 in height and has short ginger hair which is "slightly balding". He was also wearing a dark grey-black tracksuit, white socks and trainers.
