A Starbeck pub owner has submitted plans to open a second venture in Bilton.
Kevin Jones, who founded The Office Ale House on High Street, has tabled plans to North Yorkshire Council to open another micropub at 53 Skipton Road.
The new venture is proposed to open in the former Lunns Blinds shop on the corner with Chatsworth Road.
In documents submitted to the council, Mr Jones said the micropub would be open daily from 12pm to 9pm.
North Yorkshire Council will make a decision on the plan at a later date.

The move comes after Mr Jones opened The Office Ale House in April last year.
The pub, which is dog friendly, will offer drinks from a range of local breweries and hosts performances from musicians.
At the time, Mr Jones told the Stray Ferret that he came up with the idea for the pub after finding he had nowhere to go for a pint after working from home in Starbeck during covid.
He said:
I wanted somewhere to go for a pint and a chat after work and there was just nowhere that suited me.
I wanted something with a community feel.
