Rising Star under 30 winner 2024: Emily Smailes, Marketing Adventures.

The Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025 celebrate businesses across all sectors in the Harrogate district, shining a spotlight on excellence and innovation.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share insights from our judging panel on what they’re looking for in each of the 10 award categories.

This week, we’re focusing on the Rising Star Under 30 Award, proudly sponsored by Thompsons Chartered Accountants.

Recognising young talent

This award celebrates exceptional young talent from across the Harrogate district. Nominees and entrants for this category are the future trailblazers, destined to make waves and forge successful careers in their industries.

Last years winner - Emily Smailes, impressed judges with her drive and determination which was reflected in her successful co-owned business, Marketing Adventures.

To enter, submit details about the nominee’s background, the role they play in the business, and specific examples of how their dedication and work ethic have positively impacted the company.

Do you know someone who deserves to win the Rising Star Under 30 Award? Don’t miss your chance to nominate them! Entries close on January 12, and the process is quick, easy and free to enter.

The Stray Ferret Business Awards is proudly sponsored by Prosperis.
