The Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025 is open to businesses across all sectors in the Harrogate district, celebrating the people and organisations that make a real difference.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll reveal what our expert judging panel is looking for in each of the 10 award categories.

Last year's winners both fully embraced digital innovation, harnessing it to great success. Harvey George (Commericial Business) was praised by the judges for 'the development of its own bespoke manufacturing software'. 

Harrogate Community Radio (Not-For-Profit Business) was recognised for 'offering an online streaming platform of its radio broadcasts, resulted in a growth of 30 per cent to their website'.

This award is designed to showcase businesses which have embraced the digital world to drive success.

Those looking to enter or nominate need to provide details of the digital initiative/s and the business objectives behind them, as well as statistical information on why the initiative was a success.
