Here are the answers to this week's Sunday Picture Quiz. How well did you do?
1. The stocks at North Rigton.
According to Historic England, these village stocks probably date from the 17th century. They were restored in 1930 and 1960.
2. The Robinson Library and Timble Village Hall, Timble.
This building was built in 1892 with money gifted by Robinson Gill, a local man who emigrated to America and became a wealthy stone merchant. It is named after his mother's family, who lived at Swinsty Hall.
3. Battle Cross, Aldborough.
This 18-foot-high stone monument probably dates from the 15th century and commemorates the Battle of Boroughbridge in 1322. It originally stood in Boroughbridge but was moved to its current site in neighbouring Aldborough in 1852.
4. Look out below!, 53 Kirkgate, Knaresborough.
This is one of many trompe l'oeil murals in windows around Knaresborough that celebrate characters and events from the town's history. The project was devised by Renaissance Knaresborough and the murals were painted by various artists.
The murals celebrate Knaresborough's Civil War history.
The murals are on Kirkgate, just near the station.
This one, by Shirley Vine, commemorates the English Civil War, when the castle was besieged. The Royalists who held it eventually surrendered and the castle was dismantled four years later.
