Police have launched an investigation after three people were assaulted in Harrogate town centre.
According to a statement issued this morning by North Yorkshire Police, the incident happened at about 4.20pm last Friday (June 14) outside the Blue Cross charity shop on Beulah Street.
The statement said:
Following the incident, officers arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He was interviewed and later released on conditional bail.
Several people witnessed the incident and officers are now appealing for anyone who has information that has not spoken to police to come forward.
