Two men appear in court charged with kidnap in Harrogate
Two men have appeared in court charged with kidnap in Harrogate.
Michael Balog, 24, and Liam Edmondson, 28, appeared before York Magistrates Court yesterday (October 9).
Mr Balog, of no fixed address, was charged with kidnap, driving without insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Meanwhile, Mr Edmondson, of Pasture Crescent in Knaresborough, was charged with kidnap and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The alleged offences relate to an incident on October 7.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear before York Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 1.
