Two men have been charged with conspiracy to burgle homes in Harrogate.
William Charles Smythe, 23, of no fixed address, and Hari Barnes, 18, of Roberts Crescent, Harrogate, were charged with the offences which happened between July 16 and July 29 this year.
North Yorkshire Police said the two men were charged with conspiracy to burgle 11 houses in the Harrogate area.
Mr Smythe and Mr Barnes appeared at York Magistrates Court on July 31.
Mr Smythe also faces a further burglary charge and theft of a motor vehicle on June 3 and two counts of theft from a shop on July 17 and July 27.
They were arrested on Tuesday, July 29, in Harrogate following extensive police enquiries.
Both men have been remanded in custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at York Crown Court September 1, 2025.
