A spectacular Christmas lights show at a house in Harrogate has returned once again.
The Hughes family lights have appeared annually on Norwich Drive in Jennyfields every Christmas since 2021.
Computer engineer Dale Hughes has installed 40,000 low-energy LED lights outside the home to put on a daily free Christmas light show.
The show runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm every day until Christmas Day.
Nineteen Christmas-themed songs are programmed to accompany the light show, although more will be added soon.
Mr Hughes told the Stray Ferret it is a smaller display than last year’s, due to work constraints, but that he has changed some of the props – for example, snowflakes into wreaths.
And, despite being a smaller display, it still took him a week to put up.
The display is put on each year in aid of Martin House Children's Hospice. QR codes to donate are located around the outside of the house, or you can click here.
You can watch the lights being switched on below. We have also added some pictures.
