'Wedding' Tuk-tuk on sale in Harrogate
Bored of driving to work by car? Fancy starting a wedding transportation company? Want to look cool on the golf course?
Liven up your daily chores by getting around in a restored electric tuk-tuk.
For just £2,556 (at least that’s the starting bid) you can buy your very own rickshaw – or if you can’t face the auction format you can buy it now for £3,576.
The ‘genuine 1970s Kerala 360R three-wheeler’ is listed on Ebay as a 'wedding event vehicle'.
Images show the inside decorated with garlands of pink flowers, LED lights and pictures of young women (perfect décor for your wedding vehicle).
The black and yellow paintwork is further enhanced by the metal eagle that adorns the top of the tuk-tuk, with Hindi writing on the front and back.
Photos also show it standing beside the statue in Crescent Gardens, by Harrogate Convention Centre, and the collection address is Cambridge Road.
The vehicle has a top speed of 35mph with two passengers, and even features a radio with Google Maps and a rear parking camera.
Sadly, you can’t actually drive on the roads – it is for private land use only, with the listing suggesting uses such as “wedding entrances, event hire, golf course transport, private estate use, photo booths, prop hire, shows, and brand activations”.
