Roads in central Harrogate will be closed this weekend, when hundreds of members of local scouting groups march to celebrate St George's Day.
Cubs, scouts, guides, brownies, beavers and squirrels will parade through the town with flags flying, continuing a decades-old Harrogate tradition.
The roads that will be closed are: Beech Grove, Victoria Avenue, Queen Parade, Station Parade, North Park Road, and Coach Road.
The roads will be closed on Sunday (April 26) between 1.45pm and 2.45pm, and the parade will start at 2pm.
According to a post on Harrogate Town Council's website, the event will be "managed as a short-term static closure with roads reopened as soon as possible after the parade has passed".
On a separate note, but related to Harrogate town centre, the polling company Suffrago is running a public vote on the Stray Ferret about the £14.6 million Station Gateway project, which is set to start this year after a lengthy legal challenge.
