Witness appeal after serious collision near Boroughbridge

Police have issued a witness appeal after a serious collision near Boroughbridge.

North Yorkshire Police attended the incident, which took place around 7.15am this morning on the A168 in the Dishforth and Boroughbridge area.

It involved a car and a milk tanker.

The Kirby Hill roundabout and Leeming Lane roundabout was closed as a result of the collision.

Officers are looking to trace the driver of a green and yellow tractor who is believed to be a witness to the incident.

A police statement said:

If you are the tractor driver, please call 101 and an officer will get back to you as soon as possible. Please quote ref number NYP-19092025-0076.
