Volunteer rescuers came to the aid of a woman who became stuck at Brimham Rocks yesterday.
North Yorkshire Police asked Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association to help the female, who was unable to get down from a rock.
Brimham Rocks, near Pateley Bridge, is owned by the National Trust.
The association said in a social media post:
We contacted Brimham to let them know that we would have members arriving and checked that the casualty was OK before advising them to stay put and await our arrival.
Once the team were with the casualty they made them safe before setting up a rope system to lower them down to safe ground.
We hope the lady is none the worse for her experience and enjoyed the rest of her visit.
