Tickets for next year’s Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate have gone on sale today.
The 167th show will be held from Tuesday, July 14, to Friday, July 17. Tickets are now only sold in advance, with visitor numbers capped at 35,000 a day.
Organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, a farming charity, this year’s event was another sell out.
Prices for next year’s show will remain at £36.50 for adults and £13 for children. Family tickets, which allow entry for two adults and up to three children, will be £89.
Rachel Coates, who presided over her first show as director this year, said:
There will be something for everyone to enjoy, whatever your connection is with the countryside. There is no better place to be to celebrate the fantastic British food that farmers produce than the Great Yorkshire Show.
The team at the Yorkshire Agricultural Society are hard at work putting together another fabulous show to celebrate the very best of farming, food and the countryside, so look out for more
Membership of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society will be on sale from Monday, November 10. Single membership is £95 and joint membership is £155.
