New restaurant set to open in centre of Harrogate
An alcohol licence has been requested for a new restaurant in Harrogate.
The former site of Cafe28, on Beulah Street, has an application for a premises licence in the window.
The application, by a company called Kitchen Sinking Limited, is to sell alcohol between 12pm and 11pm every day of the week.
The new company, owned by Gregory Wilson and Emily O’Callaghan, is listed on Companies House as a licensed restaurant, incorporated in February 2026.
While Cafe28 is still listed as an active company, the site has been empty for a number of months. The retail unit, 28 Beulah Street, was listed to let by Montpellier Property Consultants in May 2026.
No further information is available regarding the plans for the restaurant.
A public consultation period will give members of the public, plus other interested parties, the chance to comment on the plans.
