Pop-up wine bar to appear on Harrogate street
A pop-up wine bar will appear on Leeds Road in Harrogate this week.
Independent wine business Ake and Humphris is running the venture, which is expected to be greeted by sunny weather when it gets underway tomorrow (Thursday, July 18).
The pop-up will overlook St George’s roundabout, where the company has one of its two shops.
It will give customers the chance to enjoy wines by the glass in the outdoors. Beers and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
Tara Stagman, director of Ake and Humphris, said:
We’re serving from within the shop, and putting a few chairs and tables on our premises outside the front of the shop for a relaxed wine tasting experience, very similar to the arrangements we put in place for the Tour de France.
The pop-up opens tomorrow from midday to 9pm and will continue from Thursday to Saturday until the end of July and then over select weekends in August.
