Ripon's Royal Engineers attend a Remembrance Sunday event at Ripon Cathedral last year.
Each year on the Sunday closest to Armistice Day, Remembrance Sunday is observed across the country to honour those who served in the armed forces, both past and present.
Communities gather at war memorials to reflect, lay wreaths and observe a two-minute silence at 11am. It is a day not only of remembrance, but of gratitude and collective reflection.
Throughout the Harrogate district, local residents, veterans, cadets, and civic leaders will unite in quiet tribute, ensuring that the memory of those who gave their lives in conflict continues to be preserved for future generations.
