Knaresborough padel players will soon be able to play a game on their doorsteps as details of a new site have been released.
Padel Up Knaresborough is opening at Monkswell Park this summer and will feature three indoor double padel courts.
According to Padel Up Knaresborough's social media, the site will also include a “Hyrox, functional and strength gym” called Function Hub, as well as reformer pilates classes, a sauna and ice baths, a coffee shop and a viewing platform to watch padel games.
The post describes Padel Up Knaresborough as “more than just padel”, and is a “new space to train, recover, socialise and play”.
An exact opening date has not been revealed but the social media post teased “early summer”.

The Knaresborough location is one of a string of new openings for Padel Up. It already operates sites in Teesside and Tyneside, but is also launching venues in Stockton, Coventry, Mansfield and Nunthorpe.
The Stray Ferret will provide any further details when they become available.
The news is the second padel-related story this week, as two covered courts are currently being built at HG5 Padel, located at Poplars Farm in Ferrensby.
