Dodds’ title is the culmination of performances over a 12-race season in the Ligier European Series. This includes a win at Le Mans in June, which you can read about here.
The driver secured victory with 20 minutes to go in the final race.
Dodds and co-racer Iko Segret entered the final round nine points behind championship leader Romain Boeckler, requiring a near-perfect performance to overturn the deficit.
A second-place finish in the first race kept the title fight alive, before Dodds delivered a dominant second race victory with an eight-second winning margin to snatch the title from Boeckler.

Dodds said:
It’s an incredible feeling to be crowned Ligier European series champion. Massive thanks go to everyone at ANS, my teammate Iko Segret, and all of my sponsors and supporters who made this season possible. We fought hard all year, and to end it on top is something truly special.
Now, with the title secured, I couldn’t be more excited for what comes next — the next chapter of my racing journey begins here.
Dodds’ next step is onto the world stage in LMP3/2, where he will be competing with some of the world’s best sports car and ex-Formula 1 drivers, in the globally-followed European Le Mans Series.
