Bacchus wine and charcuterie board
Bacchus is somewhat of a hidden gem on Station Parade. Serving more than 40 wines by the glass, there’s something to suit every taste.
It offers wine flights every day, with expert sommelier knowledge by Master of Wine, Miles Corish.
The bar also prides itself on its carefully crafted cocktails by its mixologist, along with its selection of gin and tonics, craft beers and rare whisky.
Food-wise, think nibbles – up to 10 different artisan cheeses and meats served up on a charcuterie board.
Offering a cosy, intimate atmosphere, the bar also has live musicians playing every Friday night, and happy hour deals from 4-7pm Wednesday to Friday.

The 17 Miles bar on Cold Bath Road in Harrogate
Described by owner Matthew Gray as a ‘passion project’, 17 Miles specialises in Belgian craft ales, niche beers and cocktails, and has recently celebrated one year since it first began trading on Cold Bath Road.
Inspiration for the bar’s name came from Matthew's young son Miles, who was on hand to help the lengthy process of transforming the space from retail unit into a stylish bar with an industrial look.
According to Matthew, the Cold Bath Road bar offers residents and visitors alike an alternative to the bustle of the town centre. Many regulars have told him they have ‘no intention’ of heading further into Harrogate on a weekend, preferring to drink and dine in a less congested area.
It's also dog-friendly too. Bonus.

The Blues Bar is somewhat of an institution in Harrogate. There always seems to always be something going on no matter what time of day or night it is.
It has been open for more than 30 years with its customers coming back time and time again, and it is also popular with visitors to Harrogate too. During the day it has a relaxed café feel, coming alive at night with live bands performing seven days a week.
Inside the décor is certainly eccentric too with quirky objects hung all over the ceilings in the bar. It has an impressive 60 gins to choose from, while those looking for a bite to eat can order its Yorkshire tapas too.
