Police appeal after sexual assault in Harrogate
Police are appealing for information after a reported incident of sexual assault in Harrogate.
IN a statement today (September 8), North Yorkshire Police said sexual assault by touching happened at around 8.30pm on Sunday, September 6 on the Stray.
The victim was walking along the Stray, between Knaresborough Road and Wetherby Road, when a man assaulted her while running past. He then continued in the direction of Wetherby Road.
The suspect is described as a white man with a skinny build, tall, wearing shorts, a blue/green running jacket and a white baseball cap.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has information about the suspect or who was in the area at the time.
